How to find the right SHADE and COLOR of foundation?

48 ratings | 1428 views
It is very tricky to find the right shade and colour of foundation. See how you avoid buying the wrong one. I don't apply foundation on my face because I am a man, but this time I did and I even got half naked. This is how to choose foundation for brown, oily, indian, dark, dry and asian skin. The most important lesson is to take enough time when choosing the foundation to pick the right one. The liquid foundation matches you well and I think looks nicer. I've had a hard time in the past too with getting the right color. It's so annoying when you buy it looks great and when you get home wear and in the sunlight you look horrible. Thanks for all the tips!!!

+AdviseMyStyle OK thanks didn't know that :)

+Lissette Rodriguez Yes, but most liquid foundations contain talc powder that oxidizes. :)

I don't only use liquid foundations.  Thanks:)

+Lissette Rodriguez It is usually because the foundation oxidizes on the skin. Try using foundations that are not powder based. :)

So instructive, thank you. I got mismatch at an Ester Lauder counter before, it looked fine with the store light, but when I got home it was way too cool for my skin tone. Plus the lady who sold it to me refuse to exchange it for the right color. I will definitely take your advice on board next time I go foundation hunting!

@VioletteRDuchenne There are brands that started doing the same I am doing in this video. :) YSL is one of them.

Thank youuu! This is what I wanted. I see so many people having millions of subscribers, but they don't tell anything usefull. I studied makeup in Slovenia on some unknown school, but I was working as a makeup artist for Maxfactor, Kanebo, Shiseido, YSL and Lancome for 6 years and I learned a lot because I wasn't working just with models. :) I love applying makeup on different women because it is so noce to see that you helped people. :)
